DTF is a cutting-edge technology for transferring dynamic, full-color images to textiles. It uses a special film covered with powdered ink and applies the design using a heat press. Unlike traditional screen printing, it delivers brilliant color and high durability on both light and dark materials.

DTF is highly versatile, allowing printing on an extensive variety of materials, including: cotton, polyester, mixed blends, and synthetic fabrics. This versatility is why DTF transfers are commonly used for custom DTF sheets on t-shirts, jerseys, caps, and bags.

The process requires a heat press set to 280−300∘F/155−160∘C with medium pressure (approx. 6KG) for 9−13 seconds. This applies whether you are pressing a single logo or a design from a gang sheet heat transfer. The film should cool for 10 seconds before peeling (cold/warm peel).

Our standard lead time for DTF transfers (including DTF gang sheets) is same-day processing for call-in orders submitted by 2 PM CST for shipping and by 4 PM CST for local pickup. Orders placed after these cut-off times will be processed the next business day.

Custom DTF transfers are engineered for longevity. Whether you use individual transfers or designs from a custom DTF gang sheets, they are designed to last through 50 washes without fading, cracking, or peeling, provided they are applied correctly.
