DTF Gang Sheet FAQ
DTF (Direct to Film) printing is a modern garment printing process where your design is printed directly onto a special film using high-quality inks and adhesive powder. The film is then heat-pressed onto your garment, transferring the design with vivid color and durability. Unlike screen printing or vinyl, DTF works beautifully on cotton, polyester, blends, and more
DTF transfers can be pressed onto:
100% cotton, Cotton/poly blends, 100% polyester, Canvas and denim, Fleece, spandex, and more
They’re suitable for light and dark fabrics alike. This versatility is why DTF transfers are commonly used for custom DTF sheets on t-shirts, jerseys, caps, and bags.
For best results, follow these general settings:
Temperature: 280–300°F (155–160°C)
Pressure: Medium to firm (approx. 6KG)
Time: 10–15 seconds
Press the transfer film onto your garment, let it cool completely (cold peel - 10 seconds), and peel the film off smoothly. Finish with a quick 5-second repress using parchment paper for a soft, matte finish.

Orders submitted after 12:00 PM CST will be processed and shipped/ready for pickup on the next business day.
DTF transfers require a heat press to bond the design to the fabric permanently. The DTF gang sheet printing process delivers transfers ready to press; the user only needs to apply the correct heat and pressure settings to ensure a professional, long-lasting finish.
DTF transfers typically last 50+ washes with proper care. The prints remain vibrant and flexible, even after repeated washing, making them ideal for retail-quality apparel.
